Boobies and Birthdays!

Hey, what's up? It has been a while since I wrote an actual blog. I am going to alternate between my most recent album and going backward. Next blog will most likely be about weddings and such from this summer!

First, though, I must share an article from my hometown newspaper, the Racine Journal Times about the new recommendations being made for mammograms. If you know me well or have been following my blogs a while, you know that my mom is a breast cancer survivor. Well, they interviewed her for the article, and put her picture on the front page! Here it is!

Gotta love Mamalicious!

Also, an FYI on the topic... I signed up to do the 3-Day again. That'd be a 60-mile walk in three days. I will be blogging about it soon, and including a link where you can either join my team (which would be awesome) or donate (which would also be amazing). You'll see that link a lot.

And one more thing.... Click on this link and watch the video. Apparently, some company is counting hits and making a donation based upon the success.

While you're at it, don't forget about this link, and the affiliated similar ones that make donations based on clicks! It only takes a second! You should probably do it daily. Just sayin'!

Ahh, ok, on to the rest of the blog. Several months ago, I went and shot the Tia Lyn Lingerie catalogue. Here I am with LL (who is now the signature plus model) and Mrs. Tia Lyn herself! I hadn't seen either of them in a really long time, so it was very nice! This was back in the beginning of September.

Next couple pictures are of one of my 6th grade students, who has a lot of school spirit! Check out what he did to his head!

The colors didn't show up as vibrantly in the photos as they were in person!

The next few pictures are of Refugio, and show why I never get any paper grading done!

Ok, that's a lie. The reason I don't get any paper grading done is because it is the worst part of teaching, I hate it, and always procrastinate!

Here I am with Refugio, chilling on the couch, probably watching a movie or ridiculous reality programming.

Next up is a picture of an assignment that I gave my students - to make a plot chart about their favorite book or movie. This particular one was terribly done, however, I thought it was quite entertaining because of my love for cheeseburgers. A good burger practically makes me climax, too, haha.

Next up was Maj's birthday celebration. Oh man, I was one of the drunkest people on earf that night. Here, Lynzi is pouring a big round of Jamo, obviously.

That is a lot of shot glasses.

Cheers!

Gotta love that Jamo is Maj's favorite shot, but she always has a coke back.

Erin came out. YAY! I really, truly don't see enough of her.

Here's Maj, Rachel, and I.

On this night, Scott Sloan and Blond Jon (as I like to call him) did nine shots of Rumpleminze back-to-back, in a gauntlet. This picture was taken right after. I asked them to each put up nine fingers. Whoa.

Demetri came out for Maj's birthday. YAY!

Took a couple pictures with Rich... This was one of my last memories of that night!

Troy was in town visiting from Korea, and surprised me at Decibel. Yay!

Not too long after that picture was taken, I was found putting a toothbrush in a toilet in the dark. Oops!

A few days later, went to Suite for Voula's birthday. Here I am with Voula and Kristin... Two girls I don't see nearly as often as I would like to!

From there, it was off to Decibel, where it was Alleged Marcus' birthday celebration was taking place. As expected, he was so drunk he could barely speak English. We have a tradition of me wearing his hat, and him saying, in a slurred speech...

"That's my hat, seriously."

Troy popped in again. YAY!

Moving on, Refugio doesn't discriminate what work he lays on. And this time, he's on the dining room table. Extra naughty!

Sunday evening shots. Normal.

Went down to Chi to hang out with Kwesi, and saw Eric (DJ Jem) spin at Rino.

I don't know if it was just because he wanted to show off Rino's new DJ booth, or what his reasoning was, but Kwesi decided to take a second picture of us, this one taken from at least thirteen miles away.

While at Rino, met a guy with a CRAZY name! Very long. Took pics with his driver's license to prove it.

That name is "Ifeanyichukwu Aguanunu." Pretty sweet, right?

Serina was there, so we took a picture together.

The very next day, seventy or so friends and I rented the Voyager (large boat), and had a pirate party. Costumes were required. Here's Spence. He went all out, complete with a parrot!

He looks just a little Gilligan-tastic, right?

Here's a few of us who were crazy enough to wear eye patches. Let me tell you, that does not help your depth perception when you have been beveraging!

Nate's vest was incredible. One of its features was that it has no back! How does it stay on? Magic?

Joey Wiz took a different approach to the pirate costume. Here he is, steakfacing Maj.

Looks like she was retalliating. Good for you, Maji!

Doesn't look like Jamie was as successful with the retalliation!

Here I am with Josh, his dad, and some guy who really has a lot of piercings. He was nice. =)

Maj and Mia....

Here is Kayla, and Damion. On facebook, Damion's middle names are "Youknowmefromchurch" and "Outstandingcitizen." LOVE that!

Here are Erin and I again. Love her! Don't know why this came out so dark, though!

After the boat, we somehow magically ended up back at Murphy's. (I am aware that we took a bus, but almost no one remembers the schoolbus ride back! Ooops.)

Here's Josh jumping into a pic of Suzi and I!

When I was on the boat, I got an awesome surprise phone call from one of my favorite people in life, Carlington (DJ Sye Young). He surprised me and came up to visit! He was maybe going to pop up tonight, too, but I guess he stayed in. I miss my Carlington! As you see, Jamie and I love him lots. Really, it is impossible not to.

The love fest continues, and now Seth is involved. It was this night that he got a new nickname - "Pockets." Apparently, out of him, his big brother Spencer, and Nate, he was the only one with Pockets, and got to carry everyone's crap around. How nice!

Here is Seth and I again... I am supposed to go on a "date" with him soon. Hahaha. He is 20 years old. I guess I am a thundercat, haha. It will be my second date in almost six months!

The reason for this date is because the day after Spence's and my birthday finale (even though we would celebrate our birthday one more time after it, which you will see below, in October!), I laid on Spence's air mattress all day in my dress from the night before and watched TV with Spence, Mia, and Seth. During this absurdity, we watched "Wild Dogs" starring John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen and William H. Macy, which Seth claims is his favorite movie. He wouldn't even let anyone talk during it! Anyway, there is a new movie out called "Old Dogs." It is from the makers of Wild Hogs. When I sent Seth a text about it, he told me that he now has a reason to live. The night of the pirate party, he asked me if I would go on a date with him to McDonald's and to see the movie. We'll see if this is a big joke, or if it actually happens! P.S. Old Dogs got 0 stars, and the Chicago Tribune said that it is a great movie to gather family members that you think are stupid. Oh boy!

Obviously, the love fest with Carlington continues....

Here he is with his friend, Krystal.

I am the luckiest girl ever!

I think this next picture was taken during some kind of dance party... Haha.

I love Jamie in this one...

The following Friday was Rich's birthday. Happy birthday, Rich!

Rich often has the most hilarious responses to my holiday mass texts!

As I said before, Spence and I were not done celebrating our birthdays, even after the fifth or sixth one. Scott Sloan gave him, Maj, and I a free bottle at Suite to celebrate again... in October! Awesome. Here's Jack Roman, after he hijacked my camera! Gotta love the selfie!

Spence signing into the ice scoop - this is a classic. Love it!

I always thought that Spencer looked like Sting. In fact, before I knew his name, in my mind, he was "the guy that looks like Sting."

Here's Maj and I. It pretty much looks like a prom picture.

There was something about it that Maj didn't like, so we re-did it.

A little better, and a little less prom-ish!

Since it was a birthday celebration, of course, Spencer and I had to lick each other's faces.

Good thing Maj jumped in there with the peace sign!

Not to be outdone, Aziz threw in a bird. Thanks, Aziz.

Joey Wiz popped by, and was singing something very emphatically!

Love it!

Here I am with two of the hottest ladies in Milwaukee. I sure excel at surrounding myself with eye candy!

When our free bottle of Goose was done, we needed some Veuve... and a picture of the September birfday celebrants!

Thanks, Rachel, for giving me bunny ears!

More Jack Roman camera hijackery.... This time with Elliot.

Rachel and I are doing a little comparison here. I don't measure up. Aziz looks less than pleased - too funny! And of course, Maj needed in.

Rachel and Aziz are just too damn cute.

For the record, if I ever have a boyfriend again, I want pictures of us kissing each other and stuff. I know it's cheesy, but I think it's cute! I am not normally very girly, but I think this is a girl standard. haha.

Awww.

I don't know why Rachel and Maj were putting their booties on me, but I am not complaining!

Have I mentioned that I am the luckiest girl ever yet?

On to another random night... Ran into Mo.

I often take pictures with Mo, because Rich and I used to text sightings of him to each other, and made each other jealous with pictures, because....

We think Mo looks like Elvis Crespo:

Suavemente!

I don't really know why I took the next picture, but it looks like JJ is about to give a great big hug, and hugs from JJ are always awesome. He is going to be an incredible daddy very soon!

Then, that Thursday, Suite gave me a second free bottle. Thanks, Suite! Jen came out (because we USED to be Thursday night partners in crime, but haven't gone out together in FAR TOO LONG. What in hell?!?!) and Steve was in town. YES!

Sadly, Steve moved to Portland to work with the Trailblazers. I plan to visit him soon, because of Chuck Palahniuk's (my fave author) book Fugitives and Refugees: A Walk in Portland, Oregon, which is about all the crazy off-beat things to do in Portland. He is supposed to be reading it and figuring out our voyage.

Danielle also came to enjoy the free bottle, along with the Raccoon Whisperer, Christian, Aaron, and Steven, all of whom are not pictured. Below, however, you can see how not pleased Danielle was with the fact that she was wearing flats, while I was wearing fairly tall heels.

It doesn't help that I am seven inches taller than her to start with!

Next up is a pic with Mamalicious at her birthday celebration, where her favorite band, Mean Jake, was playing. And I got to play the cowbell! YES!

Here's Mamalicious and I with Jodi, a longtime friend!

Well, there ya have it! More pictures than words, but since pictures speak a thousand words, I don't have to type much, haha.

Next up: Cari & Matt's wedding, Parker and Cayce's wedding, and some Summer adventures!
